Phạm Phú Vinh is an architect and author in France and Vietnam. He earned his Master degree at the École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture et de Paysage de Bordeaux and Bachelor degree at the University of Architecture Ho Chi Minh City.
His book Poetic Significance, Sài Gòn Mid-Century Modernist Architecture focuses on the spirituality and
subconscious design behaviors observed in the language of Vietnamese vernacular modernism. In continuity with this work, Phạm Phú Vinh conducts research on architectural linguistics, exploring how design, as a living language system, translates thoughts into physical expressions, both individually and collectively.
He has lectured at the USC School of Architecture and presented at Korea Foundation. His articles has been published in Southeast Asia Globe, Saigoneer, TheModernist, ArchDaily, and Hidden Architecture.
